MILO® and Ministry of Education (MOE) have joined forces to bring you Singapore's inaugural Youth TRYathlon™ 2009! Today a media launch was conducted at St Andrew's Junior College to publicise this event, which will be held at Sentosa on 7 March 2009.
The MILO® MOE Youth TRYathlon™ will be held for the first time in Singapore with the aim to develop a sports culture and learning mentality among the youth in a fun and safe way. "MILO® has been championing youth sports development in Singapore since the 1950s and as we continue to be a strong advocate of sports and sportsmanship, we are thrilled to show our support once again through this fun and unique youth event with the Ministry of Education" Managing Director of Nestlé Singapore explains. Marketing Manager of Nestlé Singapore adds "MILOŽ aims to make this a successful sports event and encourage more kids to participate, learn and have fun". "We would like to encourage the spirit of trying as every TRYathlete is a winner in this event! It's safe, it's fun and every kid can do it! There will be no timing or placing so you can really focus on enjoying and trying the sport", says Director of the TRYathlon™ organiser, Racers' Toolbox.
The event promises to be a fun and easy event for youths of all fitness and skill levels. Youths can either join individually or be a part of a three-person team with any age group combination, making it easy to form teams among peers, siblings or even relatives. As the closing date is drawing to a close, we encourage all the youths in Singapore to take part and have a great time with your fellow TRYathletes!
