Street Style Awards 2005 with Motorola!

Singapore (Ad-wow.com 17 December 2005) -- This year's Street Style Awards 2005 (SSA), sees the organiser Style Asia, joining forces with Motorola to present this hugely successful event. AdWOW! is yet again proud to be a part of this invigorating initiative for the local scene.

Style Asia, a 360°marketing communications consultancy who is always on the helm of new ideas, fashion and lifestyle trends, has engaged AdWOW! for creative support. Marketing includes ATL in partnering street culture magazine, Juice as well as BTL through publicity flyers circulated at popular youth retail venues. The invaluable support from the official venue, Zouk Club is also vital to the success of the event. In addition to the print creative, AdWOW! has also developed a set of online email blasts to create a buzz.

In recent years, street culture has evolved to become a strong and identifiable entity that influences all other commercial art forms from fashion to music to advertising. Common categories in Street style includes street dancing (hip hop), street sports (street basketball), extreme sports (skating), performance art (music) and whatever the street wise can conjure. The birth of Street Style Awards was essentially to honour individuals who made outstanding achievements in their respective fields in street culture.

Creating a milestone for Singapore's Street Culture scene, Style Asia has taken this awards celebration from strength to strength. Previous presenters include Nike Singapore, as well as last year's Singapore Fashion Festival.
