(Singapore, ad-wow.com, 15 Feb 2008) As the countdown to the announcement of the Host City for the inaugural Youth Olympic Games 2010 heats up, this is the best time for all Singaporeans to reaffirm their support and commitment to our nation’s bid to host the Games. This is the final lap in making history – a chance to go down in the books as the first city to ever host this vibrant multi-sports extravaganza for the youths of the world.
Mr Teo Ser Luck, Parliamentary Secretary for Community Development, Youth and Sports commented to The Sunday Times, Feb 2, 2008, “Cabbies, companies, students and big bosses have rallied behind our bid. The whole nation has really been galvanized”, he adds. It’s heartwarming to see every level of Singapore society doing their part displaying their fighting spirit and ‘can-do’ attitude in supporting the YOG2010 bid.
To show our support for the bid, AdWOW! together with Calibre Pics produced a series of “ Singapore for YOG2010” banners to create greater awareness of the city’s bid. With the high morale, camaraderie and enthusiasm displayed by Singaporeans in our race to host the YOG2010, we look forward to the Countdown Party on 21 February to celebrate as the host city for the Games is announced. As we eagerly await the outcome from the International Olympic Committee, let’s support the bid for Singapore to blaze the trail at www.singapore2010.sg and get the latest updates of our bid at www.singaporeolympics.com. |
