Singapore (ad-wow.com, 3 Dec 2007) - The largest ever Team Singapore contingent with 670
athletes and officials has left for Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand to begin their quest for glory at the 24th SEA Games!
An official send-off ceremony was held at Changi Airport, with Mr Teo Chee Hean, Minister of Defense and President of the Singapore National
Olympic Council gracing the event and giving his words of encouragement to the national athletes. The AdWOW!-created banners with selected
well-wishes collected during the 6-month signature drive were presented to the national athletes who all left for Thailand in high spirits.
Though they're now fighting for national honours abroad, our support does not just stop here. Let's cheer on Team Singapore wherever we may
be and let them know that they have over 4 million supporters behind them all the way to glory!
Great news from Thailand as Team Singapore has won 22 medals up to date and is now in second place in the overall medal standings! (as of 3pm, 6 Dec 2007)
