5 WOWing talks in 2007 & 2008
AdWOW! shares its creative branding expertise in a series of high-powered talks
 

(Singapore, ad-wow.com, 1 November 2007) AdWOW! stamps its mark in the regional creative arena through a series of insightful talks within 4 months. With 3 major talks successfully completed and another 2 slotted in December 2007 and January 2008, AdWOW! has once again fulfilled its purpose of sharing its know-how of how good brand building principles can increase an organisation’s bottom line whilst providing invaluable guidance to our enthusiastic students. Feedback received from the participants who range from marketing directors, senior marketing managers, design academics to graduating students have been very encouraging.

This series of seminars kicked off in April 2007 with a return to Foon Yew High School after the successful WOW!Talk here a year ago. AdWOW!’s managing director, George Heng took the stage and delivered a 120-minute speech and gave audiences useful guidelines on leadership and talent management.

The Marketing Directors’ Summit July 2007 had George as one of the speaker sharing with fellow marketing experts at the talk in Singapore his wealth of knowledge and experience in his presentation entitled ‘Enhancing Business Value Through Creative Branding’. This 2-day event was attended by marketing directors, senior marketing managers and business owners who found the seminar ‘insightful’ and ‘thought-provoking’.

A 150-strong crowd of graduating students from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) was all ears when George took the stage and spoke on ‘How to break into your dream creative career?’ in October. These students were eager to seek more advice and pointers on how to be more prepared for creative industry and to be better designers. Events such as this highlight AdWOW!’s contribution to creative education and is an investment in the creative potential of our talented budding designers.

The positive response received at all 3 WOW!talks has paved the way for greater things in the not too distant future. In the next few months, AdWOW! has been engaged to speak at 2 more upcoming talks in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Be sure not to miss these insightful events by AdWOW!

WOW!Talk 6 – How to break into your dream creative career?
Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore,
17 October 2007

(Singapore, ad-wow.com, 1 November 2007) – Attended by a good mixture of starters, amateurs and established professionals, this talk saw the participation of more than 150 people comprising over 130 students and 20 professionals. Among those who attended the talk are marketing directors, business managers, academics and graduating design students. Participants were treated to a wide array of topics and issues during the talk, ranging from marketing and branding to current issues in the creative and design industry.

This talk represents AdWOW!’s contribution to the creative design and business communities by imparting invaluable knowledge on how to leverage on creative branding to help organizations improve their bottom-line. Apart from that, AdWOW! believes that these talks is a positive contribution to the community and industry as it is an investment in our future talents that will prepare job-ready graduates and further enrich the creative industry.

WOW!Talk 7 – Looking from the consumers’ point of view
